Many municipalities across California have adopted different versions of verified response ordinances to address the false alarm issue, with most requiring verification prior to the police being dispatched. At Cybex, we maintain the belief that many of these false alarms can be eliminated with quality equipment, proper system design, and client training...we also believe that another level of security is to add verification to the system to increase the level of intelligent information that is transmitted by a security system. Cybex therefore provides its clients the option of video verification to help minimize false alarms, and dramatically reduce police response times.
Video verification works through the activation of specified intrusion devices facilitating pre and post alarm video clip (along with associated alarm point activation) to our Central Monitoring Station. This will allow the operator to make visual, and real time determination of threat level to a business.
